Always active and athletic, fitness has been a constant and guiding force throughout Kathy’s life. Her inherent drive for health has naturally translated into helping guide others to achieve strength, balance and wellness.
Kathy got started as a personal trainer but soon discovered Pilates and was immediately hooked. She earned her first Pilates Instructor certification in 2003 studying under Rael Isacowitz, a leader in the contemporary Pilates movement and founder of Body Arts & Science International (BASI). Since then, Kathy has gone on to deepen her expertise, studying both the classical foundational work and contemporary expressions that make up the broad world of Pilates today from iconic instructors such as Ron Fletcher, Lolita San Miguel, and Kathy Grant, Alycea Ungaro, Brooke Silar, Mari Winsor, and MeJo Wiggin.
An avid Yogi, Kathy is a certified yoga teacher, studying Iyengar Yoga with venerable teachers Aadil Pakilvala, Jehingir Pakilvala and Bryan Legere. Kathy also studied directly with Carmen Curtis to become one of the first generation AIReal® Yoga instructors.
Kathy emphasizes correct form and proper biomechanics during her classes and sessions to help her clients understand the connection between concentration and the building of a sound mind and body.

Kathy proves this to be true everyday passionately teaching, training and running two successful studios in Ventura, Studio Be and V-Fit. When she's not working or traveling, she’s practicing Yoga, hiking or enjoying the California beach town lifestyle with her family and two dogs.

Pamela Franco is a classically trained Pilates instructor and has practiced and taught the Authentic Pilates Method for over a decade. Pamela apprenticed and received her certification with Master Teacher Romana Kryzanowska, (protege of Joseph Pilates).
Pamela has a long history with movement and a deep love for it. Beginning young with ballet lessons which progressed throughout her life to various styles of dance, then providing personal training in the fitness industry, and teacher training for instruction in weight equipment and aerobic classes.
In 2000, Pamela experienced Pilates as a superior physical practice—a mind and body discipline of integrated movements that felt deeply fulfilling and empowering. Her purpose for teaching is to provide a safe, comprehensive, and enjoyable exercise experience for her client to gain access to their greater potentials and higher states of well-being.

Jami Klein

Before Jami began her career in the fitness industry, she was an Account Executive in the corporate world working 60-80 hours a week. She loved her job, however, the stress and long hours took a toll on her body and working out didn't even seem like a possibility, much less a priority. She had not yet learned how to find balance in her life and her health suffered.
Eventually, Jami made her way into a group fitness class that was fun and challenging, and kept her coming back. Soon she met new friends and began really looking forward to her personal workout time. And then she discovered Yoga, which was the beginning of a new path for Jami.
Jami has always had a deep affinity for helping others. As her body and mind grew stronger and more connected, she realized she wanted to share her experience and help others achieve a higher level of fitness and wellness. She first started her new career as a personal trainer (CPT NASM) and quickly followed with a yoga teacher certification with Yogafit. In 2016, Jami achieved a comprehensive Pilates teaching certification through Power Pilates.
"I love helping clients reach their fitness goals while supporting and encouraging a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. I constantly reinforce a mind-body connection in all aspects of my teaching to help clients develop a better mind-body connection... to understand and listen to their bodies."
Jami developed Power Hour, a circuit-style, total-body training class at V-Fit Studio that has many of the benefits of one-on-one training, combined with the energy of a group training class that got her hooked on exercise. She also has certifications and teaches TRX® Suspension Training, TRX® Rip Training, Booty Barre®, AIReal® Yoga.
In her spare time, Jami loves spending quality time with her family and friends whether it's relaxing at the beach, camping or hiking, or simply sitting down for a nice home-cooked, healthy meal. She, and her two cats, Chuckie and Isabel, are avid Chicago Cubs and Bears Fans.

Claire Henning

Claire Henning is a Certified Pilates Instructor and Senior Fitness Specialist. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California Davis in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. She has been teaching group fitness since 2006 and has a background working one on one with patients in physical therapy clinics.
Claire’s real passion is helping the limited body reach its full potential. Her love for healing and her background in Physical Therapy causes her to be very detail oriented and place great emphasis on proper form. She excels at teaching bodies with current or prior injuries, limitations and/or post-op clients of all fitness levels.
When she is not teaching, Claire loves to swim, cook and spend time with her husband outdoors.

Growing up living an active lifestyle of surfing, snowboarding, running and working out, Aubree decided to pursue a career that emulated her passion for fitness. She received both the TRX® and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM CPT) certifications which lead her to teaching classes and personal training. Aubree is focused on helping her clients succeed and achieve their fitness goals as well as support and motivate them to create new goals.
